I was brought up in Longlands Ward and have been privileged to represent the residents of the ward on Bexley Council for the past 20 years.
I live with my family in Sidcup and over the next four years I want to ensure that our area remains a clean and safe place in which to live and work.
Our borough is growing and I support the need for new housing development, but it is vital that we get the right kind of homes in the right places. We need more good quality homes for families, for first time buyers and for supporting those who need our care.
As the borough grows, it will be important to balance the need for new homes with the need to protect our environment and ensuring the right level of healthcare, transport, school places, parking and broadband connectivity.
We also need to safeguard our emergency services and work to improve our roads and public transport connections.
I am proud and privileged to stand again as a candidate for Longlands Ward.
I have been a very active member of Longlands Ward by representing the residents with various problems and issues from all political beliefs. I have regularly canvassed in Local and General Elections. I am a strong believer in the conservative ideals and firmly believe in strong links with the people and the community that I represent.
I am married with two grown up daughters, both were born and educations in the Borough. I own and manage a successful family business based in Bexley, which currently employes in excess of 70 local people.
I am also an ex local magistrate. Along with my wife and other volunteers we run a charity based supplementary school based in Blackfen Girls School.
In my spare time I enjoy watching rugby and am a supporter of Saracens and England.
